Four team members spent two months working with folk musicians, monks, academics from both Lhasa and Oxford, a guide and translator, a driver, and a number of local informants.
We are pleased to report a total of more than two-hundred folk songs and over fifty-five hours of monastic chant.
All recording, documentation, and transcripts are available online at the Tibetan and Himalayan Digital Library, and are archived at the British Library and libraries in Lhasa and Oxford.
